Ok, now that we are warmed up from the first challenge, let's dive into it. In the next several days you will see more challenges popping up. The amount is undetermined, we will be taking one day at a time and see what happens. The next few days I will be popping in with a new prompt taken from the kit and/or a meaningful quote to me. This is where you will see the winter / holiday theme come in place.

She created this kit first in it's series and I couldn't be happier about it. It is IN NO WAY SHAPE or FORM a holiday kit, but a kit to "Make Art & Journal". These challenges are meant to stir up some thoughts and feelings in you and/or inspire you to create art. Since, we are celebrating this new challenge Rachel has offered a $15 gift certificate to ONE WINNER after we finish the "Make Art & Journal: Winter/Holiday Edition".... woot woot! Additional winners might be picked through out the duration of the challenge from those that use the "Make Art & Journal" Collection from Rachel.

Rules:
  • You do not have to use the kit to play in the challenge, but Rachel will be picking some winners from people that use the collection!
  • Gallery rules apply to this challenge: Layouts must contain at least 50% TLP products. (Templates count as 15%.)
  • You will have till January 6th to complete the challenges.
  • UPLOAD to our ART JOURNALING GALLERY and then to this thread.

Sorry for the delay, I twisted my ankle coming downstairs with the laundry basket.
 
@Dalis Oh no! That's a bummer. Put some ice on it.

And for those of you who want to read the journaling on the right hand side, here it is:
Dear husband, in his infinite wisdom, decided to snap a photo of me with one of my holiday shirts on. And here I am looking especially glamorous. I recall making a face for the camera, and I wasn't disappointed with the result. But hey, it is what it is. I choose not to dye my hair anymore, I've got silver highlights everywhere. Since I retired, I haven't worn my contact lenses, and thru the years I have begun the gradual sagging process, or maybe not so gradual. For the most part, I'm happy with who I am, what I've become.

 
@Dalis fantastic challenge! I will be able to play along either Thurs or Fri night. I love the prompt, its a good one! So sorry about your ankle. Yipes. And your siggy is fantastic!

Thank you ladies! That is my weak ankle, so I am kind-of used to twisting it every once in a while. It is feeling good now, as long as I don't go crazy.

It's much better, now I need to catch up with sleep. I couldn't sleep the first 2 days, I am a tosser and turner and I woke up every single time I tossed.
 
Here's mine. BTW Dalis I started using a canvas laundry bag instead of a basket for my laundry and I roll it down the stairs. Hope your ankle is better.
