Weekend Plans | Pad Patter 10.5

I do an hour of tutoring today and have tickets to a movie on Sunday. The rest of the time I'll be here!

I just returned from my annual medical procedure, so I’m a bit loopy. :crazy3This mean for the good parry of the day I’ll in bed following along with the fun and games here. Yay!

If I’m feeling up to it DH and I will go to The Wharf in DC to watch the Draken Viking ship sail into the harbor. If not, then we’ll go tour it on Monday after he returns from his Scout camp out.

What movie are you going to see?
It's a special being run by our local theater. 8 weeks of the Harry Potter movies + the Fantastic Beasts movie for just $3 a movie if you see them all. Sunday is Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

OH MY GOODNESS. That sounds AMAZING!

Yes, and the whole thing wraps up just in time to be ready for the release of The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Ugh. I literally grew up with the characters (graduated HS when Deathly Hallows came out on book; graduated college with Deathly Hallows Part 8). I keep meaning to re-read them, but then I have so much other stuff to do.

I do love me some Eddie Redmayne though. He's PERFECTION as Newt.

This weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving, so we're going to have a big family meal together on Monday. And on Sunday, my youngest has a football game that should be fun.

Bart is also looking forward to the weekend:

I'm hoping to play here for most of the weekend. There's the unavoidable chores and the kids need some attention. I've got church Sunday morning, and Dan is talking about taking the kids swimming this afternoon (Saturday). Joy is hoping we'll be here for the first scrap-chat today (3pm our time). I'm wondering if there's a way I can get someone to invite me to their house to watch the launch of the new Dr Who series on Sunday evening. We don't have TV here. It would be nice to see the first one with everyone else rather than waiting until next year when the Blueray set gets released.

Hope to play some games and scrap some. We have a wedding to attend this afternoon and evening. I hope to spend all afternoon on Sunday scrapping -- and shopping of course.
