i'm mentally going through carols that fit and can't for the life of me figure it out (i'm stuck on rudolph the red nosed reindeer and for some reason 'it came across a midnight clear' mentally in january! file under: mildly infuriating) but i love that you made the perfect gift and it's comic and quirky and i'm sure was a treasure to unwrap - love the snowflake layered under with the stack of ephemera frame too
The Hymn that you would hear during a lot of Carol services in UK is called Keep Thou My Way. The third paragraph* What do you call it in a song? verse I suppose:
Keep Thou my all, O Lord, Hide my life in Thine;
O let Thy sacred light O'er my pathway shine;
Kept by Thy tender care, Gladly the cross I'll bear
Hear Thou and grant my pray'r, Hide my life in Thine.
@bellbird not sure if you know that hymn Keep Thou my Way, I am guessing the protestant churches of England might have some peculiar songs that still get dusted off for Christmas, see the original lyrics above
