Erik scored again! For Zanna’s 41st birthday, he ordered her a mini spinning wheel. It is 3-D printed! He even ordered it “late” so it wouldn’t show up at the house early. It’s called an Electric Eel Wheel Nano and will spin wool and other fibers into yarn. Since the Bouchers name everything, she calls it Spindy Mindy (from the Mork and Mindy TV show where Robin Williams used to always say Nano-nano) . Although she does plan to try spinning Nova’s fur, thinks she will combine it with another fiber. Dryer lint will no doubt be next! Other accessories for this hobby will include a Lazy Kate, and a blending board which she hopes to make herself. The tool below is a Lazy Kate.
