I found these photos of Stephen and Michael from August, 2008. I had forgotten that we had visited North Carolina at that time. To be honest, I have only vague memories of that vacation. That was a difficult time for me. I was just beginning to realize how unhappy I was in my marriage. But from the look on these boys faces, I was managing to cover it well. These were happy moments for us. I’m so glad. These boys were my reason for living. And they always will be.

I love your journaling that tells the story behind the photos. The black outline on the photos looks really good against the white background. I also like the black circle doodle combined with the paint splatter.
