You May Be Small in Stature...

Description
My daughter is tiny for her age, but the kid dreams very big dreams. And she creates goals and sets out to do them. I wanted to create a page that when she looks back on it, she remembers and knows. I also used a large, medium and small photo and tried to carry the theme for week 2 throughout the layout as well...
Journaling Reads:
There is no hiding it. You are a small human being for your age. Weighing in at 30 pounds and reaching the height of 3 feet, 4 inches you are tiny. No, there is nothing wrong with you (a question we have to answer lots of times) and yes, you really are 5 and a half (again, met with disbelief). Yes, you may be the tiniest kid in your class and yes you have not even been on the growth charts for 5 years of your life. Yes, we have looked into everything that may be wrong internally and no I refuse to give you growth hormone shots. Believe me; we have tried to find everything wrong with the way you are. Just so we could fix it. But there is nothing wrong with you Jillian. You are just tiny. And you know what we have not babied you in regards to your height. You have learned to Jilly rig a lot of the items in the house to fit your needs. You have step stools in various places throughout the house and believe me it was a GINORMOUS deal when you could reach the light on your tippie toes just a few weeks ago. We did not give you special treatment. This is you your height and weight is a part of you. Just like your blond hair and blue eyes and freckle on your little toe. And because you always see the big picture you hold dreams in your heart that I could never imagine. Daddy always tells you at night to sleep tight and dream big and you have taken his words to heart. Never let anyone tell you that you are too small or too little to do something. You prove them wrong (you always do) and you just go right on doing it. I love you. Love Mom.

I love your story, Jillian sounds like a great kid and you and your husband are wonderful and supportive parents.

Love the journaling and the pics and the composition of your page. Lovely, really!

stunning! your daughter is beautiful no matter what her size and i am sure she will treasure this keepsake you created for her!

This was a terrific take on this challenge -- awesome journaling. Clearly, the saying good things come in small packages was meant for this child. Terrific lo, seriously.
