Yahweh Rophe: Our Healer.
The pastor spoke about the names of God and their meaning. When I heard this one, my mind immediately went to Jeri.
Jeri is my mom's best friend, and has been pretty much her whole life. She has become my friend, too. A few years ago Jeri found out that she had a very large mass of cancer in her abdomen and had it all removed. She has been through chemotherapy at least twice, as the cancer returned. I ache as she waits for test results yet again, to see if the cancer is back. And so I pray for her healing. This page is my way of praying the name YAHWEH ROPHE over Jeri. This is the banner I am holding up for her. We trust in the LORD.
