July Random Challenge and my first ever post! Yay!
I have been reflecting lately on whether the life I've made for my baby girl is good. I hope she always knows I try my best. The products I used lend themselves to this theme
I only used:
Lauren Grier, Things Will be Just Fine Kit (Its all I own cause Im new! tips and tricks and critique welcomed!)
TFL!
Kelly
I can't think of anything to critique except that, I LOVE how you shot your daughter at that angle, and made it the huge main focus of the page. The black and white goes great with La's kit, and if you haven't ever digitally designed layouts before, I'm not so sure I believe you! Just keep going the way you are--I think you're going to do great!
Thank you so Much! that was actually an iPhone laying on the table, shot upward.
Also - to be VERY fair - When I decided to quit working and be a photographer, I took a VERY intense Adobe Photoshop and Creative Suite class, so I think that helped. But the products here and browsing everyones pages while I can't sleep are what inspired me!
Thank you again! I'm off to try another challenge!
Wow - your first digital page? This rocks! LOVE the photo at that angle. The only thing I would suggest is drop shadows on the elements, especially the string and flower to give it a little more depth and realism. But, that's also just my personal preference! The layout would look great either way!
Wow this is amazing! What an amazing perspective on the photo too! I agree with Lynette - the only thing I'd do is add drop shadows on the ellies to give more depth. Absolutely gorgeous page!
You've got a great sense of design! Your composition is beautifully balanced! The drop shadow is a good suggestion for any elements that would normally need one like buttons, ribbons and flowers. Even papers cast a light shadow, though not as deep. Of course, stuff like paint or stamps wouldn't have one though. Welcome to the digi-community! I look forward to seeing more of your layouts and gorgeous photography!
Thank you ladies! Im really suprised that so many people like it Maybe I WILL keep up on this! Thank you so much for the feedback! It appears some more drop shadow is in order! Thank you again...once I figure out how, I'll peruse your galleries too!
