What great journaling! I think about this a lot, how much I invested in my kids having experiences and then wondering what they remember of them! Great imagery to go with the story!
Beautiful page Suzanne! Love the stitches and thread in the clusters and love the torn edge photo, the story telling in your journaling and how you placed your clusters on the layered papers. I can't agree more with your journaling. I believe we are in the same era I remember for confirmation camp and my Chorus trip both of those my parents did not have money for but somehow found at the last minute for me to do both. Cameras and developing were expensive then too so memories sometimes is all we have to go by. I love how you scrapped this and I cannot blame you for the height issue. This is wonderful! Such a gorgeous winter page visually, and I love your storytelling. (I've only tried to ski once, the instructor got so impatient with me as I couldn't even stand still let alone ski, I just kept sliding away. I was hopeless)
