Fourth of July weekend! We decided to travel in style (took the RV) and then back in time to Willow Brook, the 19th century history museum in Newfield. This place is so close, and yet we rarely take the time to go. It has wonderful exhibits of a time gone by! We had a chance to walk through the museum house, the barn filled with tools and toys, the store where we could grab a bite to eat and play checkers just like in a general store a hundred years ago! There were things we could touch and play with (your favorite part) and other things we could only look at… but how fun to visit the past.
