(And also think of how my now DH used to think i was weird when we'd go to the zoo and bird places in the early days & i'd prefer to have a pic with the 'bush turkeys' rather than 'regular' zoo animals!) This is so perfectly Dawn too, beautiful colours and illustrations and your fun curly font goes great with the whimsy and fun!
I always am so thankful when I get to see a bit of nature, but I rarely get a photo. This is utterly fantastic! And not one but three! Jackpot! Love how you embellished the template, and the mix of elements beautifully set off that photo. Fantastic layout!
(I do, however, think of something a bit different when I think of the phrase "wild turkey" ... ;-)
@jazzmatazz lol!! i kept thinking of whiskey when i was making this layout! thanks for your love. On this same day trip, my husband and dad; in the front seat of the truck, saw a mountain lion!!! it ran away too quickly for me to see it. No chance for a pic!!! What a crazy fun day that was.
Wow! I would give anything to see a mountain lion out in nature ... with me safely in a truck or car!! While on a trip to Colorado, I did once get to see a mama black bear and two cubs in the wild ... again, from the safety of my car. My favorite wildlife that I see on occasion around where I live are roadrunners, wild turkeys, coyotes, burrowing owls, and mule deer. I always consider it a fantastic day whenever I get to see some on my travels.
