I started scraping around the time of my first daughter's birth when we were able to buy a new camera! I began to photograph my daughter from every angle. I wanted to keep track of all the little adventures a baby can have almost every day, to remember everything that makes her who she is today. I discovered digital scrapbooking, the world of forums ... and it became a real passion to be able to transcribe your days with my pages. With my second (third pregnancy) I moved away from the world of scrapbooking. I could no longer project myself into these happy moments. I felt like I was betraying the baby that had never been by being so happy for who was going to be. I had a depression that I struggled to overcome. I couldn't take my computer anymore. I needed to get away! I picked up my needles and took out my sewing machine! I moved away from scrapbooking and screens especially while continuing to keep a record in photos and in writing of all his little adventures that make life! But my second daughter looks longingly at her older sister's scrapbooks more and more often and wonders why there are so few of her. I decided to remedy that this year. I was already planning to do it last year but some naughty villain (codename at home) decided otherwise! But this year, we won't let him win! So I took back my computer, my old kits (and some new ... oops) and off I went to tell about 5 years of adventures !!! I gave myself 2 years to catch up! Optimistic or realistic… to be continued !!
