journaling reads:
I had printed my art journal layouts for the first time. I knew I wanted to be able to flip through them at any given time, so I bought the album and pocket pages. As I was putting the prints in the pages (in no particular order), Kaydence was exclaiming how pretty they are. While she's excited about looking at them, I feel so validated that I went ahead with printing them! I also pulled out the only other album I've ever printed. She gushed over those pages, too. She has no idea that the bigger album has freebie products from 5 years ago, or layouts with pretty much no shadowing, or lack of design principles. I can still tell her every story I intended to tell with each layout.
I went ahead with printing the rest of my layouts for a Christmas gift. Kaydence and Rory love the albums, and do not care that every moment they've been alive is not yet in a book. They do not care that the layouts do not necessarily match from left side to right side, or that they aren't in order. My whole family can enjoy them. It was just amazing to be reminded of it....
