Description
JOURNALING:
Symbol of peace – now endangered.
Breeds in NE Mongolia and China and SE Russia.
Builds nest in wetlands and looks for food in adjacent grasslands.
Wetlands are disappearing as land is drained to convert to cropland.
The de-militarized zone between N & S Korea is their winter sanctuary
Diet consists of insects, small vertebrates, plants, and seeds.
They stand between 4 to 6 feet in height and weigh between 10 and 15Breeds in pounds.

Very interesting info. about this crane. LOVE that it's from Asia, but you saw it in OHIO! Great close-up pic.
 
What a great photos of the crane! Very interesting reading about the crane and so neat that you were able to see it in Ohio. I like your corner clusters and how you have the leaf coming from behind and overtop the frame.
