what i learned

for the Journaling Challenge at The Lilypad--come play with us!
journaling reads: I hope you know, but just in case you don't...you should know that you are such a blessing to me, mom. Your example as a woman, as an educator, as a daughter, as a wife has molded me into who I am. And the best part is, all those little lessons I learned about life, about being the best mom I can be.I learned them, not because you said them... But because you did them. You are a shining example, as grandma was, of the kind of Godly person I hope to be: long suffering, kind, warm, and wise. I thank you so. I love you so, momma.
scattered bits of "what I learned":
-everything I learned about being the best mom I can be, I learned from you
-pray for her
-work and play with each other always taking time to smell (or pick) the flowers
-treat her with respect always even when you
are angry.
-help to guide her into the woman she wants to become, not the woman you think she should be.
-stand beside her in good times and in bad times. be steadfast for her
-always encourage Bugga to learn..soaking up new experiences, reading, playing, talking. do it together..
-even when you cant do it literally or physically, always hold her hand when she needs it
-respect her boundaries but dont be afraid to step in and step up when necessary
- share your testimony with her. teach her about Jesus' love.
