What a Ride

JOURNALING: My "highly scientific" method of picking a race horse is - go with the grey! "Frosted" was my pick, therefore, for the 2015 Kentucky Derby. Although he finished 4th, just out of the money, his ride was AWESOME. In the 18-horse field, Frosted was 14th during the first part of the race and 15th by the quarter mile. I'd just about given up when the charge began. While everyone else focused on American Pharoah and Firing Line, I couldn't believe what I was seeing - a streak of grey lightning - 7th by the mile mark and nearly taking 3rd from Dortmund before finishing 4th.
