I love the dark colors you used here to express the angry mood. I also love your journaling on the yellow; the yellow and the heart add a little hope which we all need.
I love the way you captured the big feelings with deep colors and shadows. When my kids would argue as youngsters, my husband and I would remind them they were on the same team. I share your hope for people coming back together with that common ground.
This is such a cool page and I love how the dark colors convey mood and the pop of yellow speaks to hope. I hope we can all come together at some point, it's all heartbreaking.
An amazing art journal page! I love the face in the background looking over your brokeness!
It truly is sad with all of the turmoil in the world going on... we can pray for better days.
Really well done!
@Smwhite Thank you so much. Praying for better day fervently. @IntenseMagic Thank you so much. I appreciate your kind words. @elseepe Thanks so much, it's quite stressful and finding joy is rough. @norton94 I love that you told your kids they are on the same team! That's brilliant. I wish we'd had the "get along shirt" back in the day. Going to need a super-sized Get along shirt for the whole world! @umyesh Thank you, it's rough out there.
ugh, yes. I can't with the world right now. Let's hope for better days soon... Powerful page. Love the dark, grungy colors and those almost creepy eyes (??) at the top. Just fits so well
@lcpereyra Thank you, it's actually two photos of art works, statues. The carving on the face is amazing. I think I was laying on the ground to take the second photo. @Meliora Thank you so much. It's quite stressful and anxiety inducing. Matter of fact, I was at the car dealership, the car needed an oil change and the news was on while I waited. I forgot my book at home. After a half an hour, I asked everyone in the area if I could change the channel but uh, they didn't have cable so all I could put on was a crackling fire, then the salesperson put on Gordon Ramsey's show which is almost more stress inducing then politics!
