Description
We did a Mycology and Herbology unit study last fall, including an attempt to graph local mushrooms. It didn't go quite the way the curriculum assumed but it was a fun family day anyway.

i just added this kit to my wishlist, love the stamping over the polka bark and the split patterned paper layering

This looks like a fun school exercise! I think in So. California we would have had a hard time finding mushrooms as well, not a lot of moisture here! I'm glad you were able to mark off some. A great journal style page! I like the stamped wood grain too!

@bellbird the stamp is the tree ring, polka dots, and vine all in one. It's great for a quick paint-y cluster and I am obsessed. I had this kit on my wishlist for a while before I got to play with it and now I feel like I use it every week :D My son and hedgehog page was also made with this kit, as was my deer crashing the wedding for this week's nature photography challenge.
