While it isn't a very good photo technically, I am still excited to have captured a reasonable shot of Jupiter in 'Opposition', a mere 611 million km away from the Earth! I think I captured one of its moons too, but not 100% sure.
I did crop my straight-out-of-the-camera photo but this is as close as I could get before the photo became too grainy and pixelated.
I dream one day of having a camera that it is capable of capturing those amazing out-of-this-world glimpses of distant galaxies!
