During our tour of East Bali we stopped of at the Tirtaganga water palace. The set of rectangular pools, some decorated with stepping stones and statues, other designed for swimming, were built by the local raja in 1946. Some people were feeding the giant goldfish, which made for interesting pictures! The big scruffy dog guarding the entrance to the palace was wearing a big bell round his neck, which made him look very royal indeed!
