@carilyne thank you so much! The trip was heart-rending. As an aside, I too my father's "coffin" flag with me; he was in the S Pacific a a fighter pilot and never got to Normandy. I wanted to share it with him
@docsheila1 What a great thought. The boot camp where my grandpa was is about 90 miles away and it's just a different feeling when you are somewhere they were or were supposed to be. Maybe I'll do a page like this. Thanks for the idea!
