We live in the biggest village in the State of Wisconsin. Our largest village is only a few miles from Milwaukee, the biggest city in Wisconsin. We moved here two years ago to be closer to our son and his family. It has been such a joy being part of our granddaughter’s life. She is such a delight. It ha never felt like moving to a new city because we have been here so many times before visiting our son. That has helped make the transition easier. We left our two-story home of 39 years and moved into a one-story. We were blessed to sell during a seller’s market and to buy just before Covid hit and house prices went crazy. The one-story house is working out well. It is only 4 minutes from our son and his family. The village is quiet and friendly. We know all our neighbors...We love that even though we live close to an urban area our village has a small-town feel. We love that we have such beautiful views. We are only 2 blocks in from a major street, but we have the feel of country. What is nice is we have a Hobby Lobby, a Michael’s, and a Joann store within minutes. That truly is a blessing.
