We were here in November. I would love to see lava flow as well, but just like you, we did not. We did see some steam though! Love how you tucked the elements in the cutouts.
Wow, I love how the red bands really set off the large photo. I like how you used white for the journaling. We rented a car to drive up to the look into the volcano crater (on Maui, if I remember right). It was so foggy we couldn't see a thing. We were on my husband's R&R from Vietnam and we were dirt poor, so it was pretty disappointing to spend the $ and not see a thing.
Love the orange-red bands and how well they set off the main photo. And I like how you used a couple of the circle cutouts for more photos. This is wonderful!
