the two most important people to us during Sarita's primary school years. Her 5th & 6th (last) years teacher, Mr Conboy, an amazing teacher that took the classroom outdoors many times making them learn from observing not only nature but also human behaviour. My friend Bette, born in Portugal, brought up in Brasil and that kind of friend who beame family, with all the good and the bad, but that love that transcends all. I was working (some days even 16 hs until the wee hours of the morning and on call on a law enforcement unit) and couldn't have gone through the primary school years without her, as she would have Sarita, her kids were at the same school and she would pick Sarita up, feed her, help with homework, and so many times I had to call to say I wasn't able to get back until 2 or 3 am, some days didnt even know what time (when we were raiding places there was no way to know how long it would take) and she would have her overnight, meaning bath time and the bedtime stuff and Sarita grew to love her as much as she love any of the blood family members, maybe even a bit further than my own brother & sister in law as we see less of them than of Bette (to this day) I also was fed and got huge support from her in my own thing... and at her place at the time (across the road from the school) the kitchen was huge with a huge table, around which everything happened...if that table could talk...the book would be a best seller LOL
