"My name is Hanna Vrielink. I was named after my grandma,
because I was born on her birthday. That’s also the reason why I like my name. It wasn’t very common at all in my country until a few years ago, when it became popular again. Early on in life, when I was a little girl, a few of my neigbourhood friends called me Hannibal. After the A-team character that goes by the same name. Needless to say, I was not a big fan of this nickname. Later on, in college my nickname was ”Hananas”. It’s a combination of my first name and the Dutch word for pineapple, which I love. When I had to pick a username for the Lilypad however, I didn’t really want to use any of those. In the end, I came up with Vrielinkie, which only a few people use as my nickname. It’s really just a diminutive for my last name, since I am quite short. So, long story short, Vrielinkie is a pet name!"
