@Smwhite I blended Nancie's painted background with 'multiply' blending mode. I must admit because I work in PS elements, I sometimes lightly erase around objects/brushes and photos, until my blending is the way I like it. A no-no if you are trying to preserve the photo. I also tend to "sandwich" layers between multiple photo layers, and play with blending modes. Good way to get cool effects. Have fun.
