Description
Travelers Notebook: Columbia Ice Fields - 2017. The cool connection was that I had previously visited in 1982 and they had put up a 1982 marker so we could see the devastating melt of the glacier over exact time since I had visited.

Uses Sahlin Studio's Painted Fresh Snow (paper) and Writing in the Snow (Flakes); NBK's Art Crush 5 (Transformed Frames)

Awesome, love the dimensional pop to the photos and the scattered snowflakes, Its amazing what changes and what stays the same.

It is really powerful to read your personal experience with global warming. I actually said out loud, "oh, that's awful!" when I read that you could no longer see the glacier at all from the 1982 marker. The photos, design and story all work together in such a strong way. Perfect page for the challenge!
