It has not been easy being a widow. I am 100% responsible for the house and the property, making decisions, shopping and cooking for one. My sister-in-law, Mindy, lost her husband, John’s brother, just 64 days after I lost John. Partially due to the strange circumstances, Mindy and I have become good friends. We live 3 miles away from each other. She truly understands the grief, the living alone, the house maintenance thing... So when one of us does something outstanding, working hard outdoors, or just being our normal incredible selves, we message each other with Wonder Woman GIFs. It works for us.
