In August 2017, we travel to Jönköping, because Urban is going to check out a few things at the City Archives. We've booked a room at a hotel in the middle of the city. After breakfast the first day, Urban leaves for the archive, and I get back to the hotel room, knit and watch some TV. After a couple of hours, the stores are open, and I get out to look around a bit, and maybe do some shopping. I'm strolling through the street along the stores, drops in at almost every one. I don't buy anything, I'm just absorbing everything. Talk a bit with people I meet. Finally, I get back to the hotel, and I realize I've been out for over two hours! Me, whose been fighting for so long against my fear of leaving the house without Urban. Me, who doesn't even dare to pop over to the grocery store for milk. Me, who usually sits home, hiding in front of the TV with my knitting. The trip to Jönköping is my turning point. It's there and then, I realize I will be able to get well. I will be able to be out and about again. I think it was the fact that I was safe, I wouldn't meet anyone I knew when I was in another city, that made me feel so free and happy. In a way, I found the core of my problems, and hence I could start untie the knot. The trip to Jönköping got a whole new meaning. It changed my life and it made me free.
