I was born in Cologne in Germany (then West Germany)
I spent my childhood in Rösrath(1) and then in Bensberg(2),
where I went to school.
When I was 18 I went to Ghent (3) for my studies, 2 years in boarding school and 2 years in student accommodation.
Then I lived in Bredene (4), in a furnished apartment. (about 1.5 years)
After that I lived in 4 places in Ostend:
After our marriage in a house (5), our property, until we separated (almost 24 years),
after that I lived in the center of Ostend (6) for 2 years.
Then I moved back to our neighborhood, in a rented apartment (7) for 10 years,
When the divorce was finally granted and the house sold,
I could buy my own apartment with my share and an additional loan (8)
