My journaling reads:
There’s a handwritten date on the back of this photo that tells me it was taken in 1967, which means my mum (on the right) was 19 at the time. I don’t know who the other lady is, but she features in a number of photos mum kept, so I guess she was a friend she used to hang out with. The thing that strikes me about this image, is how the fashion of the time looks pretty similar to the fashion of today. Slim-leg trousers, chunky knit jumpers and flat shoes, all of which are “en vogue” today. Timeless classics.
