      too cold for eagles in Tas?! i must admit i clicked in from the gallery b/cos i heard them talking about snow on mt.wellington in the country wide weather the other night and i thought the top of the photo was a snowcapped peak (y'know how sometimes cameras make white snow look tinted blue?); either way, stunning shot and the black stitching emphasises those wings beautifully!

      @bellbird oh no, certainly not too cold down here for the eagles! :) don't see many of them around my place, not like the old place above, where we could just walk out onto our deck and watch them flying. They used to nest in a big tree in next paddock, but just before we left, they nested in one of the trees down at our old dam! that was exciting to watch! :)
