- I prefer to collect memories, not things. It brings me great joy to rehome the things that I don’t need anymore, and to take photos so I can hang on to the memories without hanging on to the items themselves. These duvet covers made my kids happy for a time, and now they’re making someone else happy. Knowing I could pass along that joy by giving them away brings me joy too.
