the story with this is actually written in the card, my thoughts as I have been trying to find some order and peace of mind around the house... the cacti we have, some of them are the ones we bought in 2001 when we moved here...something like a little plant that maybe to many is just that...a plant. Still, we have so many stories where the cacti were involved...so, again, the power of scrapbooking that allows us to keep those everyday moments, the ones which go from routine to mark some serious stuff on our lives, and turn them into beauty with our art
the photo is of one of those survivors, taken with my Nikon D40 when I went into macro mania a few weeks ago!!! TFL!!!!
Gorgeous Cynthia! I love cactus. When we lived in Texas we had a lovely Cactus garden that CJ grew outside.. they were beautiful! Me I bought some for inside the house where we lived in Georgia and I tried here.. ummm Christa has a black thumb and can kill a cactus so quick which for most people is a hard thing to do! I eye them and CJ asks if I want to try again and I am like, nope.. I don't want to hurt another one!! I love the way you scrapped this! The frame, the stitching the paint.. your layers and shadowing are fantastic!! Love this, and your macro camera shot is perfect too!! well done!
