[October 2012} The year you were born we were finally able to join Grandma Bonnie for her annual trip to Sunset Beach. She's been going every fall since Daddy was about five-years-old.! His job prevented him from taking that time off for a couple years, but he was excited to be back and get to share his favorite place in the world with us for the first time. Back then you really didn’t enjoy the wind - you couldn’t seem to catch your breath in it - but you loved the water!
[October 2017} You absolutely love the beach. You love to look at photos from past trips and ask all year how much longer till
vacation. But now you don’t have to wait until October to get your beach fix, because we just moved to Sunset Beach and now we frequent the shore the way we used to visit the park. I’m not sure who enjoys having the beach as our “backyard” more - you boys or Daddy!
