FEB 2012 - JENOLAN CAVES, NSW.
This tree fern is at the entrance to the the Lucas Cave and the River Cave systems at Jenolan Caves. I love the gorgeous shades of greens on this fern, whoever chose to plant it there made the right choice! It gets plenty of natural light, out of direct sunlight, protected from strong winds and gets plenty of moisture from the crevices between all the surrounding rocks that funnel the rain water down from the ground level. I just wish that my tree ferns looked as healthy and lush like these did!
