I love my Kindle
It's an older model, a Kindle 3 also known as
the Kindle Keyboard. I prefer it to the newer
touch screen models because I like being able to
enter text with actual buttons and I like using buttons
for turning pages. It also has sound which many of
the newer models lack so I can listen to Audible
books on it. Although I used it very little when I first
got it, I now find myself reading almost entirely on
my Kindle. There are several advantages to that,
such as always having the place I last read open up,
being able to look up a word in a book without
having to put my Kindle down and look in my paper
dictionary, and being able to carry a bunch of books
around with me in my purse.
I love my Kindle so much that I keep buying new
protective covers for it, and I even bought a decal set
that looks like an old American flag to decorate the
Kindle itself...my current protective folio cover has
the Statue of Liberty on the front so it goes very well
with my Kindle's American flag "suit".
I love my Kindle so much, I bought another one (used)
on Ebay so I would have a backup. The newer Kindle is
White, and I named it Frosty, while the black Kindle with
the American Flag "suit" is named "Artsy"...I have no idea
why...LOL.
