JOURNALING:
This heirloom art deco brooch, nearly 100 years old, was presented to my mother by my father on the first Christmas they celebrated together as husband and wife. It was quite the style back then.
Unfortunately, my sister and I don’t remember ever seeing her wear it. Styles change. But, we loved looking at it in her jewelry box.

How beautiful is your Mother here wearing that beautiful brooch! What a lovely story, especially of you and your sister looking at it in her jewelry box! As your sister mentioned, I love the framing of the brooch in the little house with the dark background and Christmas elements. Thank you for sharing and for playing along with the MOC11 Day 7 Heirloom challenge! Beautiful page.. Well done!
