The Great Lakes are near the top of my bucket list. In my mind, I see a small bodies of water from geopgraphy maps. Then I see pages of such majesty, like this one, and that want to goes up a few notches on my list. Beautiful! and oh my gosh, I didn't notice the shape of the lake until reading the comments! that is a cool touch!

Anne, you REEEALLY MUST Go!!!!!
WHY?
1.) The air there is so different- it feels fresh.
2.) There are windy days, and seeing the power of the wind and waves!..("“What kind of a man is He? Even the winds and the waves obey Him.” Matt. 8:27) is exhilarating !
3.) Each lake is massive; some places you aren't able to see their end- like an ocean, but NO SALT to burn your skin or eyes.
4, Best, freshest seafood, And friendly people.
5. IT IS FREE TO VISIT A GREAT LAKE!!
