Kai was given a home pass for good behavior for a few days and we were more than excited to see him once again. Having my blue eyed boy home for nearly a week was heaven on earth. Watching him interact with his siblings was a sight to see, the laughter the filled the room was music to my ears and memories made in the past few days will forever be etched upon my heart. We had a lot of quality time as a family, just my children and I. It was much needed time. Just the four of us. Time in the pool. Time playing games. Time just cuddling. Time chatting. Time playing video games. Movie nights. We went out to eat way to much, trust me way to much, but it was so worth it. Kai was here during some of the hottest days of this summer it was in the 100's while he was here. We treated him to a hair cut. He got to see his fur brother. The night before he left, I spent time with just him. Just the two of us staying up late watching a movie and eating candy. And when he left this morning, we both cried tears, not knowing when we will see each other again.
