I use blending modes all the time in Art Journaling to blend backgrounds, brushes and word art. So my challenge for myself was to use the same blending modes but in a LO with clean lines and a graphic feel. So glad for this challenge as I use blending modes sparsely in this type of LO.
I blended a journal card into the background via Darken. Background papers were Multiplied into the triangle pennants to give the letters colors. A background paper was blended into the arrows. An element was blended into the background via Multiply.

You are so right, blending is normally associated with artsy pages, I completely love how you proved it can be used graphically as well! Awesome page!
