Wowza! LOVE the smoke you added! This page looks awesome and I can't tell you how many times I've thought through this same thing. After my family was safe, I used to always say my contacts would be the first thing I'd grab, but now that I've had lasik, my EHD is TOTALLY the first thing I'd grab!

I actually have sort of been in this situation. The apartment next to mine was completely destroyed while mine was, miraculously, was virtually untouched. But in that moment, grabbing anything at all did not even enter my mind. I just got the heck out. This was long before I had kids and such, so of course now getting everyone out safely would be of utmost importance, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't even attempt to grab any "things".
