Adam released 'The Anzac' in 2002. Over the last 14 years it has become an anthem in the Aussie country music world. I think it really got going after Adam played an Anzac Day concert in Hervey Bay 2009. He cannot perform without playing the song and somewhere along the way we started to sing Waltzing Matilda at the end. Adam just goes with it and his band plays along. The raw beauty of a song that speaks to people and brings them together always brings out emotions in the crowd especially my family. We kind of have a family tradition where one us cries. Usually Jessie or Pete. This video and pic is from the Eumundi Country Music Festival
