You had been having stomach aches for the past few months. We both passed it off as just indigestion as the pain went away with tums. Yet on Jan 7th, 2017 you went to bed with a pretty nasty stomach ache only to wake at midnight with the worst pain of your whole life! You woke me up crying. I rarely see you cry and when I asked you what was wrong, your voice was weak as you said “I need to go to the ER, and I need to go NOW!” As I drove you to the hospital you could barely move. I could tell you were in extreme pain as tears fell from your eyes. We got to the Er a little after midnight after they admitted you they gave you some strong pain killers. You had had kidney stones in the past and thought this was similar, but the pain was only in one spot and wouldn’t pass. The doctor ordered a lot of tests. Hours went by without results. Finally the doctor came in and we were told It was your gallbladder and boy was it angry! The doctor explained it was inflamed and the pain you were feeling was that of a gallbladder attack. Your gallbladder was full of stones. He said he highly recommended it be removed, yet you could also go home if you chose. After talking it over, we chose to get it removed. A few hours later you were in surgery. I waited in your room as they cut you open to remove your angry gallbladder. Hours passed and I heard nothing. Finally the doctor called; you were in recovery. He explained it took longer than expected because your gallbladder was A LOT worse off than anyone believed. It had totally died in the back and gang-green had set in. Long story short, what was a simple trip to the ER ended up being a 3 day hospital stay. You got a horrible infection from your gallbladder and ended up on antibiotics and couldn’t keep anything down. 3 long days we spent there hooked up to IV’s day and night with the room-mates from hell. And even when you were finally released we were told it would be a long recovery and were sent home with antibiotics and painkillers.

Fabulous color choices. The page is striking, just like an emergency. Just trying to be helpful (and realizing you might have already noticed and fixed it in your copy on your computer) shouldn't there be another D in the title? Hugs!
Oh, gosh, been there! Although thankfully mine didn't die and cause all of those problems...how scary!! I love the bright attention grabbing color and the fun title work...Nice!
