Wonderful lift, Kendra... I loved looking at your page and your photos of your Thanksgiving!! One must always have that "ONE" Thanksgiving for the memory books that you can look back on and laugh. I will say at the end of the day, your rolled and stuffed Turkey, looks delicious! Glad it turned out well despite all the hurtles of the day!!! Our ONE Thanksgiving that I will always remember was 1989 You have to have one to remember especially every Thanksgiving when you reminisce and everyone gets a chuckle! Well done! Thank you for playing along with the March Scraplift Challenge!!!
i may be looking at food/event inspo pages in the gallery and found this - i can't believe no one asked what the story with the sweet potato and garbage disposal was - i broke a knife on a sweet potato at some point years ago before i invested in a samurai sword of a knife. I hope you are no longer physically or emotionally scarred as a result of the side dish (i bought some rubber/silicon oven rack edge thingos back when my kids started cooking/'ovening' food, game changer for me too) & owning that sous vide thing sounds like it was a lifesaver as well as making you guys sound like pro-grade chefs!
@bellbird lol we clogged the drain with sweet potato peels - then we googled and learned garbage disposals don't do a great job with potato peels and we should have just thrown them away. Whoops! The sink was clogged and full of water, and we didn't have time to address it until after work that night (like 10-12 hours later). It truly was the thanksgiving from hell lol no scars from the oven burm though so that's a win lol
