30 days of Gratitude, Day 2- granted this isn't a "typical" art journal page, but is what came up
I have been wanting to make a book about this for ages, so Kim's 30 Days of Gratitude was great to get me started. I think God has blessed me with the best ever scrapping family.
I really never knew, 10 years ago, when I started scrapping, that this industry would gift me with some of the most amazing, most important people in my entire life. I have made solid, amazing friendships with women from all over the world, people who have been my sisters, my confidants, my breath of fresh air and great shoulder to cry on or an amazing company to laugh and celebrate our life's best times..... and many of them have met Sarita and I, many also have stayed here at our place, and though I have no words to thank these people, both the ones who have met in the flesh (I don;t like the "real life" thing as I think the digital can be as real as it gets) and the ones who we haven't had the pleasure but have spoken long and amazingly...some on Skype, some on the phone, some over Facebook chats or pms here....some of these most important people are "my" designers, ladies who have taken me on their creative teams and have advised me in times of hardship, and have laughed and celebrate with me every time we have a chance..... to you ALL, the old friendships (whom I am SO SO delighted to have here in our Scrap home - girls, it took us 6 years, but we are again all in the same place, ad a place so amazing, we are blessed!!!!!!- I want to make a page per person I have met in the flesh first, and then a page per each of you who has touched my life so deep and we still are the best friends one can hope for. I have also learned with you all...how we should not judge a book by the cover or that first and even second impressions can be wrong, as some of the most important women in my life right now is one I had been very vocal about disliking...... (Cheryl of Fiddle Dee- Thank YOU!)
And last but surely not in the slightest least, Grateful for Laura
...because I am never sure I deserved the place you so kindly have given me in this family, and I will continue to try be less forgetful and more organized, thank YOU because without you guys, I would have never been able to get through the past 3 years - OK, too much text, I get emotional- This blessed, amazing life..... these awesome friendships...Thank you ALL-
