The photos are not very good, I couldn't even fixed the red eye properly, but I had been trying to scrap these ones for a while. Something I learned in a past event at the Pad, We Are Storytellers, was that sometimes even though the photo may not look amazing, it can tell a lot by looking at the background. Up till then, I would have extracted Sarita and used just her in the page. But the background shows the last times before her Dad got very ill, and how we would play with her a lot. I think the journaling is readable, there is another photo that shows more the tea set we were playing with, but I thought these show enough. This kind of thing was what turned me into a digital scrapper: I wanted to make a record for Sarita to know how great her father was before becoming very ill, and how great a start in life she had. TFL!!!
