This is so fun! I love that you used a grid/block design to mimic the quilt. I always love tshirt quilts like this and all the fun memories they capture. That's so fun that you were able to teach her how to make it herself, but bummer about the sewing machine breaking. My 1960s machine from my Mom died last year too and I finally decided to quit repairing it and just get a new one too.
