This is my fourth submission for the April 2026 Art Journal Muse Challenge hosted by @*sylvia*. I enjoy a variety of digital scrapbooking styles. I like mixed media, junk journaling, and traditional styles as well. I went with a more traditional style with this submission.
Thank you for your lovely compliment Ms. @kirstiegai. I had not even realized that. I just picked pieces and played around with them until it looked right to me. And the “sun” did not look right in front of them. The other stuff I tried including just looked too busy so I ended up with this and I really liked it.
This layout is incredibly creative! Your paper scraps actually look like a mountain range. Even if it wasn't intentional. Your layout shows how versatile an AJ page can be. Thank you so much for taking part in my challenge.
I appreciate you comments Ms. @*sylvia*. I have learned something from you and Ms. @kirstiegai. I am going to have to start looking more at what the shapes could be. I do not know why I did not realize that since I used paint pieces to mimic the sun?
