Sunflowers

such a pretty page, love the way you recoloured the elements to match the tone of the page, and the cropping on the sunflower is superb. Gorgeous layout

@zinzilah Thank you so much Olga Re the recoloring, I love how it was in the kit, but I needed brown and yellows The head on that sunflower my brother grew was about a foot across and was like 8 feet tall .. his sunflowers were huge last year Thanks again!

i absolutely love the crop on the sunflower! and now that i read the story, i'm starting to think you would have needed the widest possible lens to get the whole thing in anyway! (ours were pretty tiny this year - and they never last long anyway with the local cockatoos that seem to have a radar for when and where sunflowers grow)

@bellbird Thanks Justine..I asked my brother where he got the seeds.. I think they are called Mammoth Sunflowers? anyway the heads were so heavy that the one storm they had last summer it toppled over... he dried the heads out and grabbed all the seeds for the birds (they also have issues with black bear in the area as they are in the mountains, and they love the seed too! ) It really is cool... me, I usually have the smaller head sunflower that I buy in a bunch Hugs!

@cfile (maybe that's the difference , we usually grow them kind of accidentally from left over bird seed!)

@bellbird LOL I am not sure but yeah they are huge.. I agree re growing from left over or whatever the birds drop as they fly by!
